I The Egg at The Wee Red Bar. 11pm—4am. £4 (£3.50). Weekly. A mix of indie, 60$ garage, Northern soul, ska, soundtracks and all things groovy at this ever-po ular Art College student union. Graeme Popstar and Nejat Barton are the team with the glam house dream and Edinburgh’s clubbers are lapping it up. Watch out for the ‘dress glam or scram’ dress code.

Joy move to Ego for a Festival one-off featuing the same hard house, trance and funky techno tunes that rock Wilkie House the rest of the year, courtesy of Alan and Maggie. Sally and Trendy Wendy will be doing their dance classics thing downstairs in the Cocteau Lounge and, if it gets anywhere near as hot and sweaty as Luvely was a fortnight ago, then they’ll no doubt let you lucky clubbers chill out on the outside patio too.

Glam house night Oxygen move to the West End for this one-off, featuring the hard house talents of the Tidy Boys (aka Andy and Amadeus) who are behind label of the same genre Tidy Trax. Also on the billing are Trade’s Fergie and fellow Sundissential regular Nick Rafferty, alongside Oxygen’s own Alpha and Dowzer. The fun doesn’t stop there, because upstairs we have Andy Junior, Tob and Billy too.

Fawaz and friends (19 Aug) rotating with and Joseph Malik and Eh! Wun (26 Aug) on a fortnightly basis, with a range of quality tunes from hip hop and drum & bass to reggae R&B and mellow house.
