I'm up for the Festival. I’m looking forward to seeing a double act called McDougall And Donkin at The Gilded Balloon.

I’m not going to have salt and sauce on my chips this Festival.

Todd (Higher Ground) and pals (2 Sep) on a fortnightly basis, with a range of quality tunes from hip hop and drum & bass to reggae R&B and mellow house.

With their residency in Glasgow no more, London‘s original hard housers have been looking for alternative venues for their Tartan Trade excursions. Tonight‘s event will act as a bit of a showcase, featuring the talents of regulars Guy Williams, Ziad and Steve Thomas, and you should be spotting them here, there and everywhere about Scotland soon. Tonight's offering sees a guest slot from New York producer Benji Candelario, whose work spans the major players, including Masters ((1 Work, Strictly Rhythm and Junior Boys Own. His DJ sets are rumoured to reflect the classic New York house and garage style, with plenty of uplifting lyrics and more than a nod to disco, so that should please all you Ultragroove regulars.
