The premise of the play is (‘onti's mission to persuade a puppet to accompany her on a topless snooker prograntme. In the process. her talents bring life to various characters. including an lidinburgh gri/lly' bear and the obligatory evil doll. It'd be a shame to ruin the various surprises. save to say that there aren't many. The truly fresh aspect is Conti herself who. despite a brief and aimless plot. is a very watchable comedy performer and. (iod willing. a future Keith Harris. t()lly' Lassmani
