This major exhibition which coincides with the publication of Roland l’t'nmw: The l'rn'ml/v Surrealist a biography by his son Antony Pcnrose. reveals his work as a surrealist artist. exhibition organiser. collector and writer. Penrose was friends with a number of surrealists including lirnst. Miro aiid Picasso and was responsible for the first surrealist exhibition to come to London in I936.
