Even when it became Radio 3 in the early 70s. no-one would have anticipated it becoming part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. That Radio 3 has chosen to up its coverage of the Fringe this year and to present several live shows on-air and online from its Edinburgh home of Dance Base. is a significant complement to the Fringe.
