It is a semi-autobiographical ‘coming of age at the end of an age’ story, told through the eyes of young Ralph Compton and set during the last gasp of the British Empire in Swaziland, south-east Africa, 1969.

The List and Tartan Films are giving away two pairs of tickets to a charity premiere of Richard Jobson's A Woman in Winter in aid of FSU Scotland, which works with some of the country’s most vulnerable children and families.

A Woman in Winter is a sensual ghost story set in Edinburgh that explores the nature of obsessive love and quantum physics. Scottish astronomer Michael meets and falls in love with the mysterious Caroline, but their world turns into a schizophrenic, claustrophobic dreamscape as they try to understand the cruel hand that fate has dealt them.
