the sticky city night on fire with 500 plastic domestic bottles. The chandelier-like structure entitled 'Candela 7/450 (For the Death Star)‘ is over six metres in length; an illuminated necklace of acid pinks. lime greens and tangerine oranges.

Very strange fruit indeed.

A parade of n'ionstrous Pierrot and Pierrette's rendered in paint and conte crayon. Flannigan's ‘vanitas' canvases explore the tragic-comic state of being alive. figures are depicted in awkward positions and are dragged about the surface of the painting wrth Violent gusto. See review. page 85.

Layers of painted trees create a textured surface that somehow manages to trap time in their branches.
