POORBOY PLAYROOMS As we reported at the beginning of the month, the Poorboy Playroom project, run by Scottish theatre company Poorboy, has been connecting actors, dancers, curators, visual artists and even punk musicians. The fruits of the Playroom workshops will be shown to the public at various times at three locations across Edinburgh on Wednesday 26 August, and are free, although you need to email info@poorboy.co.uk in order to get yourself a place. Look out for innovative Polish theatre company Song of the Goat working with a punk band, and actor Maureen Beattie roping in the cast of The Girls of Slender Means and the curatorial staff of the Royal Museum for a slice of personal history. Princes Mall, ECA and the Royal Museum, 26 Aug, times vary, free. www.poorboy.co.uk
