FILM IN THE
OLD COLLEGE QUAD Sun 17–Sat 23 Aug
The University of Edinburgh, in association with Edinburgh International Film Festival, are presenting
an open-air cinema in the beautiful Old College Quad for seven nights next week. The event programme will showcase a wide range of classic fi lms on a giant screen with fi lm fans, families and festival-goers
encouraged to come along, bring a picnic, and enjoy their favourite movies on the Old College Quad lawn.
Films include classics Ghostbusters, The Breakfast Club, The Big Lebowski, Fargo, Shrek, How To Train Your Dragon, Goldfi nger, Skyfall and Restless Natives, plus many more.
Screenings will be preceded by short fi lms made by students from the Edinburgh College of Art.
All Evening Screenings cost £5 per fi lm and can be booked at edfringe.com Kid’s Matinees for Shrek (17 Aug) & How to Train Your Dragon (23 Aug) are free and unticketed.
