WIN A FAMILY TICKET TO SHAKUNTALA A ROCK OPERA

Shakuntala A Rock Opera, an exciting and original new take on the classic Indian drama performed by students from the GEMS Modern Academy school in Dubai will make its Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut from 16 21 Aug. First dramatized by the fifth century Indian poet Kalidasa, Shakuntala is written, scored and directed by Kevin Oliver, a seasoned theatre producer in his own right.

Based on a folk tale from the pages of the Indian mythology Mahabharata, Shakuntala has been reimagined as a rock opera with 19 original songs ranging from pop to rap and a cast of 30 singers and dancers. A modern day fairy tale of love lost and found. The List has three pairs of family tickets to give away for Tue 18 Aug, 6.45pm. To be in with a chance of winning just log on to list.co.uk/offers and tell us: Which poet first dramatized the story of Shakuntala?
