Workshops open to anyone following on from the black comedy Some Way To Go by Peter Mullan and the Red Heads theatre company (See Tues 6 May, Theatre). Ideas arising from the play, Some Way to Go, if seen, can be taken up and tried out with different techniques, but it is not at all necessary to have seen the play to go and enjoy the workshops.

Yi Guo has played on some 200 film soundtracks with the Peking Film Orchestra, playing the traditional two stringed fiddle, the erhu, and the sheng of which he is regarded as the greatest living exponent. His brother Yue mastered traditional Chinese flute and fiddle and is also conservatory trained in Western flute and violin. In Britain since 1984 to study Western music, they have played music festivals and toured with the Chieftains. In modern and traditional styles, the music reveals the diverse mixture of cultures that survives in the Peoples Republic and in the repertoire of these most scnitable Chinamen.
