Such as the famous ‘Georgian House’ at Charlotte Square—the finest frontage in Europe—designed by Robert Adam; or the house in Heriot Row of Robert Louis Stevenson, the author of ‘Treasure Island’ and ‘Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde’; and the house where the great meeting of minds between Walter Scott and Rabbie Burns took place.
