Each is dealt with in turn with typically Hoganesgue. good humoured machismo. the down to earth Dundee proving more than a match ior even the slickest oi city dwellers.

Such plot as does exist is basically a wrap-around iorthese comic scenes. which run together into what ultimately resembles nothing more than a ieature length lager commercial. in which Paul

Hogan gets all the best lines. and a iair percentage oithe worst.

lnthe States ‘Crocodile‘ Dundee has already grossed over a hundred million dollars. which seems totally excessive iorsuch lightweight. instantly disposable comedy. butihai is presumablytounderestimatethe popularity oi its star. (See Feature) (Richard Reece)
