The Calton Weavers: Glasgow Trade Unlonlsm1787—1987 Until end 1987. The museum is in political mood for this exhibition, re-telling the unsung story ofthe first martyrs to trade unionism and the movement’s subsequent course. Ken Currie‘s work illustrating this theme is the first major mural commission from Glasgow District Council since the Banqueting Hall, City Chambers, was completed in the 18905.
