I Martin Stephenson and the Daintees/Slide Glasgow School of Art. Renfrew Street. 9pm. This would be my choice oftonight‘s end ofterm bashes. In Martin Stephenson there is a definite songwriting ability. and the new album is long-awaited. Slide area local band who are signed to Phonogram and have been winning much praise from those who have seen them recently. I have still to see them this year — but hopefully they will have developed from last year‘s derivativeness-plagued incarnation.
