As a mark at esteem lor the readers at The List. and in a pathetic attempt to be loved,l managed to sneak into the South Bank belore l lelt to borrow a Peter HellSimu-Hair‘ beard and some tickets lorthe NT‘s triumphant tour at Edinburgh and Glasgow withtheir gut-wrenchingiy brilliant production at Tennis E. Williams' Cat On A Hot Tin Root, starring the Olivier award-winning Lindsay Duncan, the superb Ian Charleson, the excellent Alison Steadman and the non-parell Eric Porter. i haven't seen aproductlon like it since Hall’s back in the Fitties. It's simply ensemble acting at itsbest.

I managed to procure 4 pairs ol tickets lor both the pertormance at Edlnburgh'sKlng's Theatre on 23 February, and at Glasgow's Theatre Royal on 1 March.
