Despite the name this is not strictly and Acid House club. This year's hippest sound is featured strongly upstairs but total saturation is avoided due to the punters being happierto get down to the old stalwarts like James Brown and Rose Royce ratherthan anything uniamiliar- no matter how cool.

The fact that the club operates on

two floors has obvious

benefits in terms of scope, the basement providing a more relaxed atmosphere to balance the serious abandonment above
