One of Edinburgh's more individual clubs and one of the few operating in the Soul sector which doesn‘t slavishiy follow London-based trends, Spanish Harlem has announced two special nights forthe Festival.

The Spanish Harlem Festival Club takes place on Thursdays 18 and 25 August in the upmarket setting of Zenatec. Hard, danceable sounds will be very much on the agenda and the club’s regularteam of DJs will be assisted by guest ‘The Duke’ (Alan Campbell of ‘Cut‘). Slides and videos will be used to enhance the atmosphere on what promises to be two hot and sweaty nights. If you're inclined towards soul sounds, attendance is compulsory. (Andy Crabb)
