Hailed as a classic as soon as it was performed at the Theatres Boulies de Nord in Paris, 1981, Brook’s production heads straight to the emotional core ol Bizet's opera. Geraldine Healy, Graeme Campbell, lain Reynolds (all Glasgow) and Kevin Dakers (Edinburgh) won tickets to see Scottish history enacted belore them in Wildcat's Border Wariare and Kevin Dakers also won a crate oi Beck's.
Frankenstein got a unanimous vote tor being Mary Shelley‘s most lamous creation and the two readers to win tickets Ior Bloody Poetry at the Traverse were J. Bailour (Edinburgh) and Stella de Marco (Glasgow). J. Ballour also won a meal tor two atthe Traverse's new caie which is open 10am till late.
The lirst time William Hurt and Kathleen Turner were united on film was in 1981 's Body Heat. The ioliowing people won tickets to see The Accidental Tourist at the Cameo. Edinburgh. and a copy at the original novel: Graeme Broad, Vassiliki Kolocotroni, Alan Stockdale, lain Black, Murdi Rodgers.
