War meantime envelops the Calton Studios on 24 June staging Canadian hard electro dance band Front Line Assembly, formerly Skinny Puppy.

War Production featured here at the turn of the year are now lending their services to some of the most highly spoken of names in the Edinburgh club scene. Their own events are always a spectacle combining some of the best in contemporary heavy dance music and visuals which are guaranteed to go to town. The classy cards which are in circulation to advertise the events are worth keeping a hold of as they will give discount on admission for forthcoming War events. Something very big is planned tor the Festival at ‘a completely unexpected venue‘. Details closerto the time.

Also deserving a mention is the rogue Junkyard sound system mixing some explosive Dn-U/Electro dance beats at Jules in Waterloo Place. It‘s hard to pin down exact dates but keep an eye out for this Thursday club. The system recently gave supporting sounds to a couple of bands at Moray House and eventually dominated the night, a case of the tail wagging the dog?
