C: Steeleye Span

Many moons ago, lite was simple and Competitions spent their time down the , pub, pretending thatthe Edinburgh ! - Festival, like Santa Claus, wasn‘t real. 5

It was merelya nasty story our ' mummies told us to try and trighten us into getting ‘properjobs‘. .

It was ol course real and, at the end ol it, it's a very dazed Competitions page that brings you the winners at those long lorgotten competitions.

First up is the Perrier competition, and lucky old Michael Brown (Glasgow) was the man who got to see lots at amusing cabaret shows and sit on the panel that picked Sean Hughes as the winner at the Perrier Award.

Then there was that nice video, Mystery Train, won by Chris Rogers (East Kilbride), Fiona Spear (Dunlermline), Tim Clyne and Neil Clapperlon (both Edinburgh). 5

And lastly? Our big UCI Craig Park I comp. Getting the goodies were Alan I Bowers (Bonnyrigg), Nicola Glencross I (Edinburgh), John Heuston (Glasgow), Susan Horsburgh (Edinburgh), : Margaret Leggatt (Henlrew), Annette , McCann, Ana McLauchlin, Keith 1 Miller, Jill Simpson, Paul Sloan, Anna I Watkins (all Edinburgh).

See you next issue!
