Powerful folk-influenced rock. tinkling ivories. gravelly vocals. the works. Miss McKee’s presence will be a welcome extra bonus for Flowers‘ fans. given her own American folk roots and her recent desire to absorb the Celtic influences of her chosen home in Ireland.

The feeling was that an American band playing reggae versions of Led Zeppelin songs while being fronted by a bloated Elvis impersonator would have only the most limited novelty appeal. but interest in the Dreads has shown no sign of abating.
