EWINX’“

9pm. £3.50. Glasgow strikes back . . . move over Moose. slide over Slowdive. AC Acoustics and Numb should burn holes through their often effete warbling. The inclusion of a saxophone in their line-up gives AC Acoustics' wash of sound a frenetic. almost desperate quality. and like Chapterhouse and Ride. they have more than one song to bandy about. Numb are making their live debut tonight. Their demo is a mixture of powerful swooping guitars and energetic. upfront drumming— hardly surprising to discover that they feature the ex-drunimer of Dawson and The Stretchheads flailing the sticks.
