I Peeping Tom (18) (Michael Powell. us. 1960) Karl Boehm. Moira Shearer. Anna Massey. A movie studio lows puller equips his camera with a spike and setsout to murder young women while filming the fear on their faces. Utterly reviled upon its initial release. An anarchic teen angst movie with a soundtrack —The Pixies. Liquid Jesus. Bad Brains— that would put hairs on the chest of a bottle of meths. Edinburgh: Cameo.

I 0oadrophenia(18) (Frank Roddam. UK. 1979) Phil Daniels. Leslie Ash. Philip Davis. Sting. 120 mins. Modsand Rockers live it up on Brighton beach byswapping buckets and spades for chains and sticks. Glasgow: Grosvenor.

I Ouerelle (Rainer Werner Fassbinder. West Germany/France. 1982) Brad Davis. Franco Nero. Jeanne Moreau. Gunther Kaufmann. 108 mins.
