I Hipster! at The Music Box. 10.30pm—4am. £2.50. Well. it's the end of an era as far as indie clubs in Edinburgh is concerned. Floral Riot is no more but do not fret as the spirit will live on in Hipsterl. Floral Riot DJs Ian and Mark havejoined forces with visuals and special effects maestro. Sam. and promise upfront indie from the scene‘s most exciting movers. With psychedelic projection. films. slides. oil wheels and their usual excellent playlist it looks unlikely that Floral Riot will be missed for very long.

DJs Lloyd Love and Doctor Ford (who DJs at The Pelican on Fridays and Saturdays) will be playing popular dance music avoiding elitism and commercial snobbery. The high Counting House ceiling will be lowered by means of camouflage netting and complemented with a predominantly red and green lightshow to give it that authentic Apocalypse Now feel.
