SEND IN THE CLOWNS

The last time I witnessed a Clown Jewels extravaganza it was piowtering down but a daring tight-rope walk was periormed regardless. Such are the joys ot summer touring. The troupe’s latest tour, their seventh in these parts, began in October and all performances this time round are, mercifully, scheduled indoors. Chiming with the time ot year, The Present is about a young girl learning that iile is about giving as well as taking- a timely message tor children at Christmas when greed tends to rear its ugly head. The show has almost everything; puppets, circus skills, videos, special eitects, music, and 01 course the zany periorming Clown Jewels. Suitable for all the tamily, especially the over-sevens.
