The Edinburgh bluesman is not heard too often in his native parts these days. and should pull a capacity audience to launch the new Rolling Rock Jazz Season for Assembly Direct. As well as a hard-hitting set from his driving London-based eight piece. Tam will also turn the clock back in an acoustic trio with Frazer Spiers on harmonica and Liberties guitarist Steven MacFarlane (not Jim (‘ondie. as erroneously stated in the programme). This concert replacesthe advertised gig by trumpeter Roy Hargrove.
