The New Look: Design in the 1950s Fri 31 Jan—5 Apr. This major touring exhibition harks back to the revolutionary 50$. a decade of design innovation sparked off by Christian Dior‘s ‘New Look' Collection of 1947. The show comprises furniture. lighting. ceramics and textiles from Britain and the rest ofEurope.

Fired Earth: 1000 Years of Ceramic Tiles Until 1 Mar. Compare and contrast European tiles with traditional Glasgow wally tiles; a selection ofcontemporary tile work will also be included. marking the recent resurgence ofinterest in tiles- they are now increasingly used in the refurbishment of housing schemes. English Etchers Until 12 Apr. An exploration ofthe variety of talent that came to light after the foundation ofthe Royal Society of Painter-Etchers in 1880. including works by Graham Sutherland, Frank Mason and C. R.W. Nevinson.

Solo: The Alan Davie Retrospective - 1937 to the Present Until 22 Mar.
