Following up the wild success at their appearance at the Scottish Fleadh, the Humpii Family are returning tour times this month to the Apollo, Rentrew Court, Glasgow, to keep the city dancing to their unique sound characterised by the use at mandolin, banjo, iiddle, dobro, bass, guitar, drums, harmonicas and vocals.

Glasgow’s very own psycho-country band are appearing on Wednesday 10, Saturday 20 and Saturday 27 June and The List has three bumper prize packages each consisting ot a Humpii Family T-shirt, cassette and a pair at tickets ior both the Saturday gigs. Edinburgh’s Cameo cinema is currently running a season oi the iilms oi major European director Wim Wenders, and taking pride oi place is his latest otiering, Until the End at the World. From the creator oi Wings oi Desire and Paris, Texas, the iilm is a transgiobal odyssey starring William Hurt and Solveig Dommartin. Featuring an excellent rock ’n’ roll soundtrack, the iilm is a tascinating iuturistic thriller.

Eric Morecambe was the giveaway answer to our WOMAD competition which had as its iirst prize two tickets to enjoy a weekend oi world music at, you guessed it, Morecambe Bay. D. Paterson (Edinburgh) was the name iirst out oi the hat and we trust she had a groovy time down in North West England.
