Sid Griffin may be remembered by fans of honest rootsy American guitar music as leading light in the once-vaunted Long Ryders. who pumped out a few cracking tunes in the mid-80s along with other part-country. part-garage Stateside favourites like Jason and the Scorchers. The Rain Parade and. oh yes. some crowd called REM.

I Prodigy lngliston Exhibition Centre. The biggest thing to come out of Braintree. Essex this century. techno- crazcd hardcore beat boys Prodigy made their ‘Charly‘ single massive. but refused to play Top Of The Pops and much prefer to spread themselves around this way.
