Production Manager

Music & Arts Department

BBC Scotland's Music and Arts Department, based in Glasgow, is looking for a Production Manager to assist the production teams over the range of the depart- ment's output which includes "Ex-S", "Edinburgh Nights" and "The Late Show".

You will assist in the efficient running of the programmes in terms of finance, administration and logistics which will involve close liaison with production staff and resource departments to achieve production plans. You will co-ordinate the most efficient use of crews, transfer facilities and editing, assist in the scheduling of staff and the preparation and monitoring of programme expenditure.

The successful candidate should have substantial experience of TV production routines, knowledge and ability to work with resources both inside and outside the BBC, good financial, negotiating and communication skills, computer literacy

and the ability to assess priorities and maintain administrative efficiency. An interest in the music and arts scene in general and Scotland in particular

would be advantageous.
