HOMELESS OUTREACH PROJECT FEMALE OUTREACH WORKER

This is a project funded by Specific Mental Illness Grant and is set up to assist homeless individuals with mental health problems, most of whom will be living in city centre hostelsor sleep out.

The project is managed by an inter agency group.

The outreach worker will become part of a team which delivers a casework service to homeless individuals, links people into existing health and support services. In particular the worker will have respon- sibility for developing specific services for homeless women.

Experience or qualifications in the mental health / homelessness field and an ability to work independently are essential.
