On the crest of the Wiiija wave come Bury St Edmunds’ noisiest threesome. punting their I ’m Scared album. ‘Grindcore‘ and ‘youthcore‘ would appear to be the most apt of the babbling adjectives that accompany the record. Or should that be ‘rotten-to-the-‘. such is their punkgrunge noiseterror? Support from forceful. melodic Edinburgh combo in the American underground mould.

that is Kingmaker return to the road. flagging their new EP. IO Years Asleep. Whether the powers-that-be at Chrysalis like this stuff better than they did the Hull trio's early offerings for their second album remains to be seen. What do they know anyway? Last year at The Venue. Radiohead were Kingmaker’s ascendant support. Now. the turn of Delicious Monster. whojust might sound like The Sundays with a hangover.
