Oxfam in Scotland need an experienced, effective communicator to develop and expand our work direct and through a network of supporters to raise issues, funds and support. The successful applicant will be a self-starter from the fields of fundraising, advocacy, public relations, working with volunteers. A proven capacity to leadership and flexibility within a team is essential, as is a commitment to the values and aims of Oxfam and the ability to motivate others to support our work. This post will involve travel throughout Scotland and significant evening and weekend work.

Group PR Executive

Salary circa £16,000

Scottish Exhibition Centre Ltd, owner and operator of the Scottish Exhibition + Conference Centre, wishes to recruit an additional, experienced professional, within the Marketing department to provide a public relations service both to the Centre and to our subsidiary company, EVENTEX. organisers of Scotland's largest annual public exhibitions and events.

Candidates should have at least three year’s relevant experience, preferably in a service industry excellent communication skills written and oral, and be able to identify suitable features and photo' opportunities to promote both individual events and the Centre itself. Experience in dealing with the media and the public and handling their enquiries with tact and diplomacy will be advantageous.
