Game For A Laugh?

Once again The List is offering two readers the chance to overdose on comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe by being part of the prestigious Perrier Award panel. Now in its thirteenth year. the Perrier award is adjudicated by an eight-strong panel drawn from the media and the general public which is where you come in.

The winners must be available to see at least fifteen—twenty shows in the first two weeks of the Festival (lb—28 August). Most shows are in the evening. but there are some during the day. and obviously you’ll be spending a lot of time in Edinburgh. There‘s no money in it. but all tickets are free and there’s a crate of champagne for you when it‘s over.

The most important qualities fora panellist are an almost unending sense of humour and incredible stamina. For an idea of what’s entailed see the article in this issue’s Theatre section. lfyou’re still up for it write a letter (no more than 250 words) explaining in an apt and witty fashion why you’re the panellist we‘re looking for.
