The final concert in the current Silk Cut City Jazz series brings Georgie Fame back to Edinburgh. but this time in the company of a heavyweight New York outfit. culled from the musicians who helped him cut his two Go Jazz albums. There is one change to the advertised line-up; keyboard man Richard Tee is ill. and is replaced by another fine player from the album sessions. Ronnie Cuber. who isjoined in the rhythm section by Will Lee on bass and James Powell on drums. The band is completed by guitarist iiobben Ford. whose power trio The Blue Line will open the concert.
