Regulars Trev ‘n‘ lain are joined by special guest Graeme ‘pretty good rnixer' Park and a night of raunchy underground vibes is guaranteed. Sex too. probably.

I GLC Beach Party Disco at Bennet's.

1 1pm—late. £3.50. 9 Jul only. The GLC project is a fund-raising organisation set up to form a Gay and Lesbian Community Centre in Glasgow; this is a benefit night with all door money going directly to the cause. We‘re promised plenty drinks promos and a raffle into the bargain. Beach wear essential!

I Katch at The Cathouse. Studio 3. 10.30pm-2am. £3 (£3.50). Popular indie club also appearing in Edinburgh on a Saturday night.

As crass as ever and now featuring a bonus hour at the beginning of the evening with £| pints and music which the DJs tell us they couldn‘t get away with during the rest of the night. Does that mean some tasteful and credible tunes for a change? Probably not . . .

I Atlantis at the Sub Club. 1 lpm—2am. £6. Still attracting a good (and discerning) crowd. Atlantis is Slam's longest-running and most successful regular night. Let yourselfsoak in the choicest. warmest house club in town.

I Talkin’ Loud, Saying Something upstairs at lndustria. llpm—late. £4 (£3). A new and expanding night with veteran DJ Tchico spinning Ragga. reggae. hip hop and a bit more besides. Queue to the left if you don‘t want to get caught up with the techno-heads downstairs.

I The Tornorrotv People at Club Xchange. 11.30pm—2am. £2 (free entry to tank-top wearers). An outrageous new night featuring ‘jaunty' tunes from the 70s and 80s and fantastic fliers which describe the whole affair as 'camper than John lnman’. Essential.

Mondays

I Plggilly Vlggilly’s at the Volcano. lOpm—late. £2.50. Unfeasibly huge tunes from top DJ Sir Kev and a dedicated party crowd well. the part-timersjust don't make it out on a Monday. do they?

I ZFII at Fury Murry‘s. llpm—2am. £2/£l. Newcky Brown. Guiness and Diamond White all for £1 to the accompaniment of ‘classic tunes. bouncy dance and 90's indie'.

Tuesdays

I Club Xchange 11.30pm—2am. £2.50. Positively jumping for one so early in the week! Dance and chart sounds from DJ Gavin.

I Fever at The 13th Note. 8pm—midnight. Free. A pre-Shimmy warm-up with suitably cheery dance and indie tunes. And it's only about five yards' stagger to Bennet's!

I Moist at The Cathouse. llpm—2am. 99p entrance and all drinks. ln-house DJ Craig playing everything from Christmas hymns to chart reggae. Indescribable really; you‘ve got to be there.

I Shire-y Club at Bennet‘s. 10.30pm-2am. £2. Legendary. drunken. ‘mixed' (or should that be ‘mixed-up'?). longest-running club night in town.
