GRAPHIC/TYPOGRAPch DESIGNER (PART-'I'IME)

A Graphic/Typographic Designer (graded Curator F) is required to join a team in the Exhibitions Office, in the Royal Museum of Scotland. Chambers Street. working on a wide range of material for Exhibition and Print

Production. This is a period appointment for three years.

You must have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant design discipline with a sound knowledge of modern reprographic techniques. Experience in exhibition design is desirable as is a knowledge of DTP or CAD.

This is a part-time post of approximately l8 'A hours per

week on a job-share basis.

Starting salary between $10,509 and £16,168 (pro rata) according to qualifications and experience with further

annual increases subject to level of performance.

The Council wishes to appoint a Development Manager. for an initial period of 5 years. who will raise funds from the private and public sectors for specific projects and provide advice and information on fund-raising to the Council's members thmughout Scotland.

Applicants should be appropriately qualified with at least three years' experience in fund-raising. They should be excellent communicators. have first quality interpersonal skills and be able to nork on their own initiative. A good general knmvledge of museum
