Union Street. 226 4679. No sign of any girls actually . . . four boys from Washington DC perpetuate the American capital's tradition for hardcore punkish sounds. Though not as minimalist as Fugazi. GVSB are every bit as raw. Singer Scott McLeod has a fiercesome growl and their best material like recent single ‘Bullet Proof Cupid' has sheer piledriving power.
