WEST PIL’I‘ON NEIGHBOURHOOD CENTRE Centre Manager

(responsible to Pilton Association Executive Committee) Salary - AP5 (plus an entitlement to an irregular hours allowance)

Pilton Central Association has existed since 1954. The Association has been involved with most areas of community activity. The future focus for the PCA will be the West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre, re-opening with additional community rooms early Summer 1994.

The Centre Manager will be responsible for the management of the Centre and day to day supervision of staff , developing the programme of the Centre and co-ordinating the work of the PCA.

Relevant experience or a professional qualification in Community Education, the Arts or Leisure Management is

' essential.

Person with clerical/administrative experience required to provide support to the Senior Communi- cations Officer and other members of SAC's Communications Department. Experience of desk top publishing and document design is essential, as is a high standard of wordprocesslng/keyboard skills. Applicants must have an ability to develop and maintain efficient filing and record systems. Knowledge of computer-based information systems and interest in the arts would be advantageous.
