PART-TIME EDITORIAL ASSISTANT
This scholarly Journal published by Cambridge University Press requires a part- time experienced secretary to assist with the organisation of the Glasgow editorial office and to supervise the progress of papers.
Other duties include liaising with authors, editors and publishers and maintaining status reports. Unix or Apple Macintosh wordprocessing software experience, together with advanced computer skills, good organisational ability and a knowledge of copy—editing and publishing processes desirable. The appointment will be offered initially for one year.
Salary will be on S/C + R. Grade 3, £9,995- £11,581 pro rata to 17.5 hours per week. Hours to be negotiated. Ref: SC262/GH.

Hernia! Productions are holding auditions at the end of February for a 20 minute film:-
As a result of an act of revenge by a group of Surrealists, a trio of cool 19205 French Gangsters find themselves in an out-ol-town shopping mall in 1993.
The film will be shot over 10 days in late March and early April 1995.
They will be looking for 7 principle characters:- 5 male, 2 female; as well as a number of supporting male and female characters. They are keen to hear from French actors and actresses as well as Scots.
Hernia! Productions is a partnership of Napier University film
students; there will be no large financial rewards available but
they will meet expenses, provide meals and an opportunity to participate in the creation of the film.
