I Club Havana After steaming up the windows of ultra stiff Maxaluna last month, DJ Jazz is back again, and this time he’s joined by the ten-piece Samba band Inner Sense. Prepare for a fiery night of merengue, rumba, flamenco, lambada and salsa. This gets very busy, very quickly. Look out for the tickets and be early. Maxaluna. 11 Apr.

I RM On the back of the last event, NAI have been chosen to host the Scottish launch of the fantastic Eurobeat 2000 album. The night thus features Robert Amiani (ACV Records, Chicago) and Frankie D (founder of Eurobeat 2000, London) as well as NAI regulars Shandy (Analogue) and Dave (Sativa). QM U. 14 Apr.

III The Yard Hopefully this night will become an oasis in the desert that Friday night in Glasgow has become. Award-winning DJ and philosopher Gareth Sommerville (Yip Yap, Edinburgh) and Stuart McCorrisken (Reality Boat) play together in the Yard with a lighter blend of house and garage. I Slide at The Tuxedo Princess. 9pm—3am. £2 (£1 with student card, free before llptn with flyer). Even with a new name this will still be known as the 'bow- att‘. Student night of mainstream indie, dance and pop of quite indescribable mediocrity.

I Speedracer at The Attic (formerly the Cameo Suite). 10.30-3am. £1. Steven Moody. star of the tabloids persues his ‘NME-orientated music’ as well as a few indie-dance classics. with a heavy slab of hip hop.

I Amorphus at Nice 'n' Sleazy. 8.30pm—midnight. Donations on the door to cover running costs. An eclectic mix of undergound sound. Guest DJs every week. I Boudoir at The 13th Note. 8pm—midnight. Free. Omigod! The original Boudoir returns for more nights ofcheesy, sleazy easy listening! Games-a- plenty including an Atari console. Frustration. Cluedo etc.

be serious? This is the kind of night that goes hand in hand with traffic cones on heads. Draught beer and long vodka £1.60. bottled beer £1.
