I llever Get Out The Boat Stuart and Orde continue their highly successful 'splinter Slam events with a summer vibe. Float your way into the sun. Renfrew Ferry, 24 June and monthly. I Club llavana Mardl Bras Club Havana‘s biggest event to date with your host and DJ Jazz playing salsa, merengue. rumba, labada, samba and flamenco. Everyone is instructed to come dressed as Carmen Miranda! See panel. The Tunnel, 25 June only.

I Swoon The fourth event from a club who cite their role models as including Barbarella Audrey Hepburn, Catherine Deneuve and Paolo Maldini of AC Milan. Mr Peaches and Jak supply us with music that ‘gives them the horn’ plus there‘s some very bizarre decor. Entrance is ‘free to anyone they can’t guess the sex of’ !! The Volcano, 26 June only.

midnight—1 pm. selected shorts 69p. Mainstream chart disco and drinks promos with Juice downstairs playing ragga. hip hop. soul. Motown and by their own admission. anything else that takes their fancy. Live bands in the wine bar. A safe bet for a staggering good student night out.

Soul Jazz recording artiste keyboard player Jessica Lauren performs live (before heading down to Glastonbury) with her full band. Well worth checking out and a must for contemporary jazz heads Lauren has worked with Japanese outfit UFO. Simon Bartholemew (Brand New Heavies) and even Misty Oldland in the past three years.
