I Ipm—3am. £2.50. Snogtastic student night with a seriously kitsch. popmungous playlist. Slugger about and indulge in intimate peer-group bonding to well chosen chart atrocities from the 70s. 80s and 90s.
I Sleepless Nights at St James Oyster Bar. 8pm—1am. Free. Easy listening sounds from Gram Parsons and The Beach Boys to Portisliead and Uncle Tupeio. Based loosely on the Teardrops nights in Glasgow. this club promises a gentle start to your weekend.
I Street Knowledge at The Venue. 10.30pm-3am. £5. 20 July. Monthly. Another night of serious jungling courtesy of Scottish dons KMC (the Ilighlands‘ answer to Bukem) and DJ Kid (more of the tearing Randall/Jack Frost school). After last month's glorious set from Roni Size. Leicester's finest DJ SS (behind the hot l-‘ormation imprint and 5HQ record shop) heads the bill with Ned Ryder also dropping those essential dubplates. lixpect all the residents from last time and no doubt the same energetic. enthusiastic and totally up-for-it crowd.
