The movie keeps to the TV series' prehistoric parody of modern suburban life. adds bright and chunky sets and a post-yuppie morality tale on greed that doesn‘t quite sit right. and comes out a little plot-heavy. Jesse (Richter) discovers that he has a half-brother. who then joins him and Jesse's foster parctrts on an island holiday. Killer whale Willy's also there with his family. as is an oil slick (artd. of course. a convenient eco-message). A tad too anodyne and uninventive to r‘eallyjustify its existence. the movie does have its familiar charms. See review. General release.
