Do you want to he a director? Strathclyde University Drama Centre is offering a course/attachment in directing, as a first stage in a theatre career. as part of the Continuing Education programme. There will he workshops and seminars on ideas and practices, led by professional directors, and attatchment to particular productions in the context of a live theatre programme. You can take the course from October to December OR january to April. Cost: £150 (£100 concession). There may he bursaries from the Hugo Gifford Trust.

WORKSHOP FOR DANCE Glasgow November 1995

A 7 day practical workshop for choreographers and film/video makers, exploring the art and techniques of making dance for the screen, is taking place in Glasgow.

The workshop will be led by Elliot Caplan, filmmaker in residence, Merce Cunningham Foundation, New York.

Applications are invited from established, Scottish-based choreographers and experienced filmmakers.

Dancers and editors are also sought for the workshop.
