I What Is Rub A Dub? Rub A Dub is a record shop, club collective and soon to be a record label. I When/Where is Bub A nub? They Opened their first shop in Paisley ’92 and one in Glasgow ’94. I Why is nub A Dub? Feeling frustration at not being able to source underground records, Martin and Alan left good jobs (Strathclyde Regional Council and Rolls Royce respectively) and set up a record shop funded by Enterprise Allowance at £40 a week.
