Electric videos have set out to make a number of film buffs very happy by releasing Milcho Manchevski‘s Before The Rain on sell-through from Monday 22 April. Not only did Manchevski‘s feature debut bring him a 1994 Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Film but also for the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival the same year.

This beautifully crafted three-part tale contrasts sublime landscape cinematography with the human tragedy of civil war. Set in London and the Balkans. the film is a poignant drama of lost love and war.
