The L!VE TV network is expanding to create city based television across the UK. These cities will enjoy, for the first time ever, a dedicated local television service via cable. As the first and most critical stage of start up, we wish to make the following appointments:

Television News Editors

Key to the success of these city operations will be the NEWS EDITORS whose role will be both to inspire and manage a team of reporters and technical staff. The successful candidates will be creative, self motivated and innovative, willing to break the mould of terrestrial television and take the risks that will make city television the most exciting and watchable in the UK. These senior appointments demand a strong and successful journalistic and broadcasting background at either a regional or national level.

News Producers / Reporters / Presenters

Successful candidates will have a solid journalistic and/or broadcast background with the drive and conviction to overcome any challenge, working as part of a dynamic, progressive team.

Avid Editors / Camera Operators / Studio Technicians / Engineers

A technical/broadcast background is a prerequisite, together with the aptitude and desire to learn in a fast paced environment, undertaking a variety of roles in a multi-skilled operation.

Sales Executives

Located in the city-based stations throughout the UK, you must have a minimum of 18 months’ experience in a competitive media environment, be self motivated, enjoy media sales and be creative in your sales argument.

Apply in writing, enclosing a full CV with salary history, to Graham Frankel, Personnel Manager, L!VE TV, 24th floor, One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 SAP, by 8th July 1996.
