Scotland is girding its loins and putting on its dancing boots for the biggest Scottish dance event ever. Fifty-six DJ 3 and live acts, five marquees, a humungous fairground and Rezerection’s usual dedication to top production values should also make this month’s Event V one of the best. Since the first Event, two years ago, Rezerection has been moving away from the tartan techno format of its smaller 5000 ticket raves to include a variety of musicstyles. Rez’s imitators may have got more notice in the press, but this is more than Tribal Gathering in a kilt. This is the business. (See opposite.)
